How to use the Power Boost Mode?
The power boost mode is on by default. Use the app to turn the Power Boost mode on/off. (Except for DBS3500)
Power Boost Mode allows Dabbsson power stations to temporarily power appliances with wattage requirements that exceed the rated output. It achieves this by intelligently reducing the voltage supplied to the appliance, allowing it to run devices that would normally overload the inverter. It's ideal for running heating devices and other non-sensitive appliances. To confirm if your appliance is compatible with Power Boost, we recommend conducting an actual test. Please refer to the specifications of each power station to learn their maximum output in Power Boost Mode.

How to hold a charge for longer than 3 months?
To prevent unnecessary power loss, it is crucial to completely turn off the power station when it is not in service (not supplying power to household appliances). When you press the power switch (main button in the central front of the power station), the LCD display will sleep yet the power station is not yet turned off. In that scenario, you will see power switch slowly flashing to indicate that the power station is not yet turned off. To turn off the power station completely, you need to remove all the input power sources (including AC charging cable, solar panel and car cigarette lighter) first. Then hold the power switch for 3-5 seconds till you see OFF icon popping up on the LCD display. After the OFF icon disappears, the power switch will no longer flash. The power station is completely turned off and it can hold current charge (battery percentage) for more than 3 months.
What's ECO Mode and standby mode?
Your DABBSSON device is defaulted to be ECO mode which will automatically turn it off in 2 hours when there is no loading appliances or the loading appliances consume less than 20 Watt. So that your DABBSSON device won't lose much battery power in case you forget to turn it off completely. The opposite mode is STANDBY, which can be set in the energy-saving mode of DABBSSON app. In STANDBY mode, your DABBSSON device won't be automatically turned off even if no appliances are loaded.

Solar Panel
What's the difference between series and parallel connection of solar panels?
In series connection, the voltage of each panel adds up while the current remains the same.
In parallel connection, the current of each panel adds up while the voltage remains the same.
In parallel connection, the current of each panel adds up while the voltage remains the same.
What should be noted when using solar panels?
Solar panels are sensitive to sunlight. Even slight obstructions can affect their power generation efficiency. Solar panels must not be partially shaded, especially for extended periods. Otherwise, the current path may be interrupted, and the solar panels could be partially damaged. Solar panels must be exposed to ample sunlight to avoid shading.
Do solar panels need to be cleaned regularly?
Yes, when solar panels are used outdoors for an extended period, their surfaces can accumulate a significant amount of dust and debris, blocking light and reducing output. Regular cleaning helps keep the surface of the solar panels clean and unobstructed, maintaining high output. However, when cleaning, soft materials should be used to wipe the surface, and care should be taken not to use hard materials that could scratch the panels. This can help prevent output from being affected.
What's the clicking sound from power station when solar charging at early morning or late afternoon?
When the light is dim, the relay in the portable power station will make a clicking sound as the output from the solar panels is continuously tracked. When the light is at normal level, the portable power station does not make this 'clicking' sound. (Note: this sound will not affect power staiton's lifespan)
